TAX EXEMPT STATUS - PURCHASES
Since moving the uniforming materials to Robin's Closet we've discovered
that Robin didn't realize she wasn't supposed to be charging Packs and
Troops tax on BSA purchases.
Robin is aware of this now but will need your help. In order to make
tax-exempt purchases at Robin's Closet, units will have to give her a copy
of their official tax-exempt status paper. If you don't know where yours
is, you can obtain a copy from your chartered organization. Since they, in
effect "own your Pack or Troop," you should be using their tax-exempt status
notification. If your Chartered Partner is not aware of this or has a
problem with it, please have them call Kevin Bonner at the Betts Scout
Service Center to discuss it.

This year the National BSA is offering an additional choice in your shopping experience. They would like to refer to it as a "virtual Scout shop" - the official Scouting Web site. You can visit www.scoutstuff.org to check out the newest, up-to-date official products available whenever you want! That's right: the virtual Scout shop is open for you 24/7 at www.scoutstuff.org. The web site also includes a directory of the official Scouting retailers near you.
To utilize this shopping experience - you must enter this E-COMMERCE ONLINE through the Chief Cornplanter Council web site. After using CLICK TO ENTER or "Visit our New Online Catalog1" below, you will be directed to the virtual Scout shop.
At the top left hand corner you will notice the
Chief Cornplanter masthead. 
You will now be able to set up an account with user ID and password.
Again - the only way to accomplish this is to go through the Chief Cornplanter Council web site.
